Accepting proposals
Meigs County Department of Job and Family Services (Meigs CDJFS) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations, agencies, or individuals to provide Financial Literacy Services.
The provider selected through this process will be expected to assist individuals to gain an understanding of basic financial information necessary to become self-sufficient. The intent of this contract is to assist participants in discovering and reaching their financial goals by teaching money-management skills — including information and guidance on how to build savings, create a financial plan, and pay down debt.
Interested parties must submit a proposal that meets the requirements of the RFP. The RFP — which details the scope of services requested, the desired minimum qualifications of proposers, submission guidelines, the evaluation criteria, and other related items — may be obtained by contacting Vince Reiber, Deputy Director, MCDJFS, 175 Race Street, P.O. Box 191, Middleport, Ohio 45760, (740) 444-7602. Proposals must be submitted no later than June 16, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. Meigs County Job & Family Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Employer of Record (EOR) Services

Meigs County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide Employer of Record (EOR) services for workforce and work-experience activities administered through MCDJFS and OhioMeansJobs–Meigs County (OMJ-Meigs). The selected provider will serve as the Employer of Record and provide workforce support services for participants engaged in approved employment activities, who are referred directly by agency staff.
Proposals must demonstrate capacity to meet the requested services. The contract awarded shall be for the period of June 16, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
Interested individuals must submit an application that meets the requirements of the RFP. The RFP — which details the scope of services requested, the desired minimum qualifications of proposers, submission guidelines, the evaluation criteria, and other related items — may be obtained by contacting Vince Reiber, Deputy Director, at (740) 444-7602, or by visiting the agency's offices at 175 Race Street, Middleport, OH 45760. The deadline for submitting proposals was 4:00 p.m. June 3, 2026. Proposals received after this date will be rejected. Meigs County Job & Family Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
